It only takes a sentence…
to stop you in your tracks,
to smack you in the nose,
to reconsider relationships,
to humble you,
to crumble your heart,
to challenge your perspective,
to realize what you’ve taken for granted,
to fill you with gratitude,
to send you running to hug your loved ones,
to live a better life.
One need neither agree nor disagree to be swept away or flattened by a powerful sentence in someone else’s story.
