This is good. Really good. It personally hits home for me, as I am having a hard time separating my nursing career and business/marketing career. Business is business, but compassion is compassion. I’d be poor if I owned a medical business, because I’d never make any money!
No it doesn’t. I will take God over the gurus any day. I read into things differently, and always have a lot to say and usually turn the subject you were even talking about into something else, but It’s sad it’s taken 49 yrs for me to understand that I don’t want to be someone different at work, home and socially. I am learning to live a life of congruence. With God. What is not natural, and what is not fine, will change who we are, manipulating ourselves in order to fit some kind of mold of someone we aren’t, so with me from now on it’s what you see is what you get, because eventually our inner lives will reflect our outer lives. Thank you again John for these daily blogs, as it has made me stop and get the one book out I know I can trust. I’m also reading a book called Born for it. It’s kinda like a devotional. 90 days to discover your gifts and purpose. This book somehow fit into your message for me.

Thanks John!
So now when I’m stressed about this, I can go to the garden:)
Thanks Jennifer. Life doesn’t compartmentalize nearly as neatly as the gurus present, does it?

Beautiful…hard and profound.
Being in that garden with Jesus always restores. It is the sweetest of times. That oneness with our father.
Thank you ,John for sharing.
Thanks Marian!
I’m sorry for your hurting heart. Thank you for sharing this. So good!!
Thanks Sara. Seems to be a common rhythm of ministry with several heartaches arriving simultaneously. I hope your health challenges have improved.
